NUX VOMICA
Saturnalia et Sigillaricia
The newest release by Nux Vomica is a collection of prime excerpts from performances which occurred during the later part of 2009. Included are moments of delicate and intense deep ambient culled from movements performed at the I.AM.DUST Festival, The Hub, Norcal Noisefest XIII, as well as Godwaffle Noise Pancakes at the LAB in San Francisco.
For the realization of this project Nux Vomica were: Alan Herrick, Evan Sornstein, Jenny Liang Herrick and Julia Wednesday.
Saturnalia is the feast with which the Romans commemorated the dedication of the temple of the god Saturn. The celebrations included the making and giving of small presents (saturnalia et sigillaricia).
