Happy Spring you Horny SOBs!

You can always count on the editorials here at AIM to be grossly out-of-date, but every once in a while I am going to surprise y'all and write a new one. Once again it has been a long long time since the last note from your humble editor. We've seen the winter Olympic games come and go - and America did indeed get spanked big time, except for that little ice skating girl whose head is two times too big for the rest of her body (figuratively and literally). At least America's circus freaks make good competitors.

We've also seen the slow transition in the media from the over blown focus on Princess Di carnage to over indulgent reporting of the president of the U.S.'s sexual exploits. MSNBC is now officially no longer the Princess Di channel but is instead the Bill Clinton Oral Sex Update Network. When the media wasn't focusing on the fact that our fearless leader has a sex life, it was doing its best to gear us up for this years pathetic Academy Awards. It was almost too easy to rip into the Oscar's this year so I pretty much avoided it. But I feel I do have to make mention of the fact that Helen Hunt won an Oscar for best actress for her portrayal of Helen Hunt and Jack Nicholson got an Oscar for his masterful portrayal of Jack Nicholson. That means we get to look forward to a 1998 full of movies starring these same exact characters. I can't even begin to go into my feelings on Titanic....sooooooo

A great escape is in the not-too-distant future...The San Francisco International Film Festival is right around the corner. Of course, AIM will be there at as many film screenings as we can stand to take in, bloated on slippery popcorn and Coca-Cola, bleary eyed and more than ready to voice our opinions day by day within the flickering pages of this electronic rag. We'll also bring you exclusive, likely sarcastic coverage of the opening night and closing night gala events and more!

Back to the matter at hand...AIM...We have managed to received a great amount of new fiction submissions as we entered into the spring months. Keep a close eye out for new ones as they are added weekly. There are a lot to look forward to. Our sister site, Internet Albemuth - the online pirate radio show - has been going strong and there's lots of new material on the way there as well.

Kick back, relax, and waste some of your employers time and money with our happy little publication.
