Could this be the "Level 2" many of the clamped Peeps spoke of. This ritual seemed much more severe than the clamping but most of the Peeps departed after the ritual unscared. Not all were so lucky. Many Peeps spoke of the "unworthy". The air is different in these rooms...there seems to be some force at work here that we cant explain.
