The second volume of Auricular Audio Magazine, elaborately packaged in a cylinder covered in magnetic tape, celebrated some of the emerging and veteran experimental music artists within San Francisco at the time.

Artists included on this volume include Black Museum, Matt Chappell, Jim Juhn, Waste Inc., and Rob n Robo.

Jim Juhn had previously released material with Low Flying Aircraft. Rob n Robo had performed and recorded extensively with Big City Orchestre. Waste Inc. was a project of Gustavo Pastre of Pillar of Plastic, who later became involved in Big City Orchestre as well as other Bay Area noise projects.
