Early in Nux Vomica's rcording career it was customary that they would release a special solstice recording in handmade packages to a very limited number of friends and family. This recording was released in a limited edition of 20 - with three of those releases going to the band members themselves. Up till now, aside from Nux Vomica, there have only been 17 people who have been able to possess.

The recording features live pieces performed in 1991. The first three were performed at the Cheap Art Store, in San Francisco on December 20th 1991. The fourth track was recorded live at the Heinz Club, in Oakland, on October 5th, 1991. These are some of the earlier recordings featuring the current line-up of Nux Vomica.
