Taking their band name from a Psychic TV live album title, Santa Cruz/Monterey Bay collective started with members Nelson Basden, Tim Fisher, Steve Baker and Michael Zivick. This was the first incarnation of Temporary Temple. Focusing on experimenting with sound, ethnic percussion and instrumentation, trance-like soundsacpes and other instrumentations such as the dijeridoo and low-fi sampling keyboards Temporary Temple built a unique ethnio-indutrial-ambient sound for themselves. They were regulars at several of the live events produced by Auricular, with an ever changing cast of members. Temporary Temple never failed to please the audience. This is one of their earlier recordings and holds up to this day as a landmark in the Bay Area experimental/ambient scene.
